Evolution of my MP15-22
Hey all, I'm a relatively new guy to the forum; this thread is to show the progress and get some input from you seasoned experts out there! Thanks in advance!
This is my bare bones stock MOE 15-22

Cleaned top to bottom, and attached my adjustable vertical fore grip.

Spent some time tonight adding some grip to my mags. Next step is to add an optic that can co-witness with my MBUS. Wife will kill me if I drop the big bucks on an EOTech or AimPoint, so I'm looking for an entry level optic. So far I'm leaning towards the Sightmark Ultra Shot QD which is on sale at Gander Mountain for Black Friday. Majority of the reviews I've read are good, especially for the 15-22 use. Obviously it's not going to hold up to the tortures of Iraq and Afghanistan, but that's not what it's being used for.

While I have done enough to my 15-22 to qualify it as an open gun, the best single thing I did was upgrade to the CMC trigger. I have never found a better upgrade for any gun than a great trigger. Good luck on your mods, you're going to have a great time.

Picked up some Cyber Monday deals and purchased:
- A new Condor soft rifle case
- Bushnell TRS-2 Red dot
- FDE rail ladders
I also have a no-name LED flash light with offset mount and a single point sling on the way.

New Bushnell TRS-25 and FDE rail ladders. Still need a riser for my scope to get it to co witness.

And the rifle itself, as I said above I don't have a riser yet so unfortunately the red-dot isn't attached yet. I'll post more when its attached. Also swapped out my foldable vertical grip for a fixed one; a lot more stable.

All that's left to add is the sling which is delayed in the mail!
Added on a Fenix PD32 LED Flashlight with Fenix mount and a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot on a UTG .83 riser for a perfect co witness on my MBUS.
Heading to the range tomorrow to dial in the sight and play with the flashlight at dusk.
More updates tomorrow night with the outcome.
I'll apologize now about the countless posts of individual pictures instead of just groupin them all together...iPhone only lets me do one at a time.

Very Nice, just goes to show you? The 15-22 can be made into anything you want it to be.

These are nice heavy duty cases with plenty of storage and padding.
