hey guys im looking for a nice light for my 15 22 iwant to spend around 70 to 90 bucks for light mount and presure switch i know i want to mount it at the end of my rail as close to the end of the barel as possible what are y options thanks

I received one of these for Christmas, it's a combination light/laser: Leapers, Inc. - Hunting/Shooting, Sporting Goods and Security Gear

I was pleasantly surprised to see the light was noticeably brighter than my Surefire X200. I was hoping I could get you the part # for just the tac light part, but the part # is for the whole kit. Maybe Leapers could tell you what part # the individual flashlight is if you're interested.

My setup...

Look into the Klarus XT11 flashlight. With two CR123s it usually produces 700-750 lumens (more than the 600 it is speced at). Good run time and 4 modes. It runs between $70-80 shipped. Good flashlight forum reviews.

Pair it with the Klarus ED10 pressure switch ($20) and any picatinny flashlight mount of your choice ($10-25) and you should be very happy.

We need to know what style of sling you prefer and what you want to do with it. If you don't have experience with different types(single, double, and three-point), you could guess which one you would like the most from watching youtube videos or looking through the picture threads. Maybe someone should start a "post your sling setup" thread to make it easier for you and future members.;)

Then we can suggest some different sling and mounting options.

I have the Inforce WML, and think it is a wonderful light. The design allows for activation without requiring a separate pressure switch.

There a momentary only version (no constant on) listed on Amazon for $98.49. Look for some reviews. This may fit your needs.

Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/InForce-Multi...009HUCMWI/ref=pd_sbs_sg_2/187-2350326-9335664

It is carried at a few other places as well, such as MidwayUSA and GG&G.

I've got one of these and it's a great bit of kit. Amazing throwing power for it's size.

I'd say it's worth a look!

On my AR, I have a 200 lumen Surefire 6PX Defender mounted with a DD&D light ring mounted on a Magpul Scout Mount. It is absolutley killer, and a great price. Momentary on or click on.

I previously had a 160 lumen Streamlight TRL1-s on it, but they are actually made for pitols, and the way the switch is, it came on and drained the battery when in a case. It has since been on my G30, but I just mounted it to the bottom of my 15-22 for kicks and to shoot cans in the backyard tonight. Everyone will think it is fireworks :D

Just got this light for Christmas and couldn't be happier, cheap, bright and good quality.

Amazon.com: UTG Defender Series Weapon and Handheld Tactical Xenon Flashlight: Sports & Outdoors

I have a Blackhawk single point sling and adapter and couldn't be happier.

BLACKHAWK! Ambidextrous Sling Adapter: Hunting : Walmart.com

BLACKHAWK! Storm Sling XT, MultiCam: Hunting : Walmart.com

Those aren't bad slings,"hook" seems heavy and easy to undo. The ambidextrous adapter seems a bit "light" though and I wonder how it will hold up over time and hard use. As for the sling,I prefer a 3 point over a single. Nice to change over and have a two point for carry or switch back to single carry.
