Default NY Pricing

Really seems to be getting out of control. Most Local shops don't have them and then when they finally get one in they want $600 plus FFL fee on top. I was able to get one at Hunter sports for $490 which included the FFL fee. They had three that just came in, jumped right in the car and drove 35minutes too them. Luckily my wife asked then to hold one but the other two were already gone. Amazing how popular these rifles are, these seem to be the only ones ever out of stock. Every single gun store I hit up and it was quite a few had the GSG-522, mossburg and colt 22 rifles still in the racks. Next mission Ammo.

I was at the Rochester gun show and the cheapest I saw was $499. My buddy paid $585 for the real tree camo version this weekend.

To bad Rodchester isn't closer, Long Island seems $499 or higher. Definitely better pricing upstate.

When Gander Mountain and Dicks were carrying the 15-22 they were selling for $500-$550. Went to a local gun shop and they were much cheaper.

got mine at Dicks for $450 and the pain in the *** manager actually made me come back the next day to get it! I said whats with the waiting period? Cuz she felt something was wrong with my address on my license because I told the other guy I just came back from Vegas. Which was a visit and we were just talking about whatever!
Anyways I drove out the next day and got it even though a local gun shop was getting them in for $430 in a few days not knowing if that included FFL fee!!!!

You have gunshops that charge fees on top of their inventoried firearm price. Wow! Never heard of that one. $10-$25 I can understand if you are doing a transfer through them, but their own inventory?

I guess they must be learning it from car dealers, doc fees, undercoating, etc.

Ive never had anything like that happen unless I did a transfer or bought from a 3rd party and had the firearm shipped in.

I never had to pay a FFL fee for a item a dealer had. Now if you’re talking using a FFL to handle a transfer from out of state I can follow that.

Paid $447 yesterday at Wal-Mart for a 15-22. Found 500 rd. bricks of .22LR ammo at local gun shop for $19/500. Look around. Ask friends, etc. May just run up on what you want and e able to avoid the scalper prices. Good luck.
