i just bought 500rds and every 2-3 shots one is a dud--even tried them through my other rimfires with no luck==altho this is the 1st time i have had any trouble with their ammo--seems like no priming compound ,maybe someone let the machine run dry?

I shot a lot of Aquila Super Extra 40gr this weekend, no failures and was very accurate. Haven't tried Super Max.

Won't be very accurate because it is hyper velocity ammo. Have you done any trigger work as it is possible that your hammer is not hitting hard enough.

I got 2 bricks so far 500 have cycled perfectly it is fairly accurate and puts nice little holes in thing other 22 will not.

Smells kinda funny when you shoot it.

do they have any more noticable kick to them compared to high velocity rounds?

Yes they do. Grab some standard velocity ~1000FPS, Some high velocity ~1200fps and these ~1700 and fire all 3 in a row you will notice it.
