I haven't seen any dissys around here, so I was rooting through the parts box and decided to put together a concept model.

This doesn't have a barrel nut, and I need to get the parts for the 15-22 A2 style FSB, but this is pretty much what I want the end result to be.

Things aren't tightened down, so the front sight is canted toward the camera and the handguard is a little off, but once I get everything else in, I think I'm going to be happy with the result.

I really like the old-skool 3 prong flash hider with the MOE forearm so close. It will change a little when I take the low profile FSB off, but I think it gives it a neat "space-gun" kinda vibe.

That's pretty cool.

The (sorta) nice thing about the current panic is that I'm actually sitting down and starting to get parts, or assemble things that I always wanted to do.

I'd prefer plentiful and cheap ammo and guns, but this is a good time to catch up on a lot of little housekeeping things I had on the back burner.
