Anyone using one of these?

HQ ISSUE? 2.5-10x40mm Laser Scope » Sportsman's Guide Video

They seem pretty nice for the money with all of the options. Also seems durable, and high quality. I read a few reviews that says it's made of metal, not the poly material and was a little on the heavy side at 18 oz.

I am planning to add a Slide Fire stock to my 15-22, but read reviews on having too much weight on the rifle to get the stock to function. I already plan to add a reverse muzzle break, and better trigger & pins, but how much would this scope affect the proper functioning of the Slide Fire stock?

Also, if you have experience with this scope, I'd like to hear some feedback. It looks like a great buy @ $89.99. I'm new to rifles and optics, and I don't want my first scope purchase to be one of those "Get what ya pay for"s :o

Made in China, a laser and a scope for $90? I think you will get exactly what you pay for, if you are looking for a cheap plinking scope by all means try it but then again a 2.5 - 10 scope and a Slide Fire on a 22 rifle don't seem to be something I would put together but YMMV. You could get a pretty decent red dot from Primary Arms and others for the same money and that may work better with the Slide Fire...

Edit to add link as an example :

Thanks zload! Appreciate the honest reply.

Interesting, as I was just looking at the scopes today at SG's website. I thought that they seemed like a good deal for a cheap magnifying scope to run on a 22lr. Plus I liked the quick disconnect feature, but I wondered if it would hold zero over time... I will admit tho, I am new to optics so Im trying to learn as much as I can rt now.

Yes I know Primary Arms makes a red dot for close to same money, but as I said , I'm looking for a scope w magnification over just a red dot. I may be trying one of these out n the near future.

I was also looking for more than just a red dot as well. I could see why some would find this scope over kill for a slide fire set up. I am trying to learn, so I am open to opinions and suggestions. I plan to squirrel hunt, and to do target/range shooting up to 100 yards, so I was looking for something magnified as well. When Long distance shooting, or squirell hunting, I plan on having the stock locked, so the rapid shot won't be used in some situations.

Nice videos. I think this might be a good scope for long range plinking. I'm still not sure if I really want the laser on mine or not, but this scope is definitely one I'm considering.

I have one of these & I just mounted it on a ruger 1022. . I bought it new hoping to mount it on a 270 but needed a full rail. Sold it to a friend he had it on a 243 auto . he didn't care for the small hole he had to look through. So took it back . Will site it in Thursday if not raining. I was fooling with it after I mounted it & can't get the elevation cap back on. Threads may be screwed up. I taped on it so may have hit it. made of alum. . I'll post more after I check it more. It is hard to get a full site pic.looking through it.
