Just ordered some Promag 32 round magazines for use with my new M&P15-22.

Does anyone know if the 'Baby' Lula works for loading 22lr with this magazine?

I use Lula for other calibers and like them.
Wanted to get a loader for the M&P15-22 especially since my son will be using it also.

Not that I am aware of. Loading the magazines is as easy as resting the magazine on a firm surface and use a thumb and forefinger to pull down the load assist button, drop in a round, pull it down, drop in a round ... etc. My 9-year old grandson loads his magazines that way with no problem.

At present there is a loader selling for almost $90, but no one has ever posted a review saying it works. There have been a couple saying is doesn't work. There's another one in the works but no word on when it will actually be released.

I wasn't sure if they would be 'hard' to load for a kid.
(This is our first 15-22, can't wait to try it out).

Not hard at all. The key is to put the bottom on the table/bench, use one hand to pull the button down and the other to load the ammo. Trying to do it holding it in your hand, like most .22 pistol magazines, is an exercise in frustration.

Enjoy the new rifle. I have a vault full of guns, including several .22s and I shoot my 15-22 more than anything else. Second most shot is my carry gun.
