Default Promag last round jams

I have 3 Promag 32 round mags. At first only one of them was jamming on the last round, but now all 3 will jam on the last round. Here is a photo attached. I've used a few different kinds of ammo (what is available anyway), and it doesn't seem to matter. I've been using Federal Bulk, Blazer, Winchester Super X, and a couple others. Mostly the Fed and Blazer.
I didn't have any problems, and then they just got progressively worse.
I clean the M&P 15 .22 after almost every use. And the rounds all fire fine from my 25 rd S&W mag.

The pin at the rear of the magazine sometimes needs to be shaved down a couple millimeters to allow the last round to load. I had the same issues on my Promags. Its the pin on the very back of the mag that moves up with the follower. The amount removed is very small, so take off a tiny amount at a time until it feeds normally.

Default Last round not feeding

Can anyone post a link to video on how to shave the pin to allow last round to feed promags? I have three ten rounders that all will not feed the last round.

You don't need a video. All you do is take an Emory board and use it as a file to rub across the top of the bolt stop pin. Do three or four strokes and check for function. Repeat until it feeds the last round.

Look at the magazine as you take it out of the well. It is that little plastic tip that is at the back of the mag, part of the follower, if you take the magazine apart. Like Majorlk said, run a nail file over it 3-4 times and attempt to load. Hope this helps as I can't load pics from my phone at this time.

I know its slim picking out there but Promags arent exactly top of the line. More like bottom of the barrel ...under the barrel mags. I wouldn't waste money on them. When i get one in trade that came with a gun i normally toss them or use them as target practice

Please do not confuse ProMag with Plinker Tactical, as far as 15-22 magazines are concerned. They are easily the equal of factory S&W magazines. I personally believe that PM makes S&W magazines - all the parts are interchangeable and the physical appearance is identical.

As far as METAL ProMags are concerned, I do agree with you. Plinker Tactical, from my experience, is the bottom of the pile and not worth messing with. Others seem to love them, however.
