Check out the other guys link. Though they are $22.99, there still is no limit on them.

I went ahead and ordered 6.

Midway is showing them in stock again but will not add to cart, might want to monitor it in the event they are going live again.

Just went OOS again, maybe processed some in and put on backorders?

Did notice that these magazines don't have a load assist on them as the 25 rounders do. Anybody know a good way to substitute for them or a website to order load assist buttons?

Thanks in advance

You can order metal load assist buttons from Raven Eye Custom, but you first have to remove the pin that prevents the follower from going all the way down to the hole where you would insert the button. Essentially, removing the pin makes it a 25 round magazine. If you do that and have magazine capacity restrictions where you live, you need to appropriately block the magazine before you reassemble it.

All of their reviews look favorable. This is the third time I have seen their mags at ridiculous prices. They have every right to list them for what they are asking but I hope they collect dust.

I wonder back in 2011 what the prices were? This is the first review listed.

I'm right there with you. I have bought some stuff from them, but never again.

I was reading on their industry page on arfcom and the industry rep said something about their prices going up from the distributers... Whatever, then why did I just get two s&w mags from midway for $20 a piece?

Also in a thread from December a poster asked why the 100 percent jump in price. The industry rep responds "none of your business"

F them.

I have bought from them pre-frenzy and their prices were very competitive. However, once they sold out of everything, anytime they get stock they put a crazy price on it.

Shame..... I hope folks hold off and after they hold on to them for awhile, they drop the price to a more realistic level. Not that I would ever buy from them again after these shenanigans.

I'm curious if any of you have ever run your own business? I do so maybe I look at this from a different perspective. Think about this. All gun owners, everywhere, are having extreme difficulties in getting their goodies... be it guns, ammo, magazines, etc. We are frustrated because no store has inventory. Well imagine what it must be like for the store owners. They have nothing to sell & can't get restocked. I'd pee in my pants if my business was put thru that.

So when I look at someone like 44 Mag, I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they are paying extra to be able to get magazines in. Even if not, I'm sure their sales now are a fraction of normal, so if they need to raise their pricing to make up for this... then so be it. As a consumer, I can accept or decline. But I see no need to hold a grudge in these times.

I don't see how anyone could compare Midway to these folks. Midway is a giant selling absolutely everything under the sun. I'm sure they have lots of items that they still can offer & probably have deeper pockets to weather this storm. 44 Mag seems to be a specialty type shop that happens to specialize in a product that is almost non existent right now.

I just got 2 of the 25 rounders from S&W direct for 48 bucks shipped. The same ones from 44mag would cost 125 bucks......are you kidding me????

Sorry Jim...we aren't talking a little markup here...we are talking an outright gouge and a half. That price is hideous. Based on it being 4 hours later and still having 100+ in stock that a majority of 15-22 owners agree. They are going to price themselves out of business if they are banking on 15-22 magazines keeping them afloat.

I still have 4 of the short 10 rounders on b/o and even when they ship my total order for 6 mags will still be less than 2 of the ones they are selling.

Their recent ammo sales on gunbroker are the same way. Sky high. They don't manufacture anything and are basically just a middle man. Typically what sets these resellers apart is customer service. They are losing potential customers with their short sighted strategy. If they were truly in business to service/help shooters they would be a little more reasonably priced. A slight mark up I can handle. But you have to agree $60 is ridiculous.

Let's not forget that they and many other dealers, stores, shops, etc. had the best past few quarters in overall sales in many years. Yes, inventory is likely hard to come by, but they still benefitted from selling everything they could get their hands on for a while. The well run shops banked cash and planned accordingly when this was happening.

This is impressive....5 hours later and there's still 100+ in stock. Either he got a million of them, or word is starting to get out that supply is becoming available and people are holding off.

Not to mention, people seem to be no longer worried about a federal ban.

Its more along the lines that people know u can buy 6 of the 10rd long mags and convert them to 25rd mags. Basically for the price of 1 of these 25rd mags.

It only makes sense.

Have your costs gone up 100% on the D&H mags? Just curious.
Frankly it's none of your business.

By the way I just wanted to let our customers know it's 1:10AM in Oregon and we have a crew here packing your orders. Two shifts tomorrow and one shift on Christmas eve. We are working really hard to get your orders out. Thanks for the support.

I ordered these yesterday morning (thanks for the link guys!) to convert them to 25 rounds. I plan on taking the follower over to my local hardware store and finding a nut/bolt combo that will cost me ~$1. You could also use a pencil to pull the follower down.

I put 200 in the cart and it said there only 138 remaining. I thought about buying just one but then I found there's a seven day delay before shipping so I decided to wait for Midway or Browells to stock them and save $40. I can't find ammo so what good would mags do me!

You can order 3 10 round longs from Midway for the same price.

And by remaining reasonable with their prices, Midway has earned my business. While places like 44 Mag and CTD will never see another penny from me.

Just checked and they still have 100 + in stock. They can keep it at that price.

I understand supply and demand but that is ridiculous for a retailer. Apparently not concerned about keeping customers...

Well imagine what it must be like for the store owners. They have nothing to sell & can't get restocked. I'd pee in my pants if my business was put thru that.
I'm new here and don't want to sound like I know every thing, so I'll kinda go easy on this.

Yes I've owned a business for 39 years. I grew up in a family who owned 2 business (Mom had a retail Ben Franklin store and
Dad owned a Print shop) My Grandfather started the Ben Franklin store. I'm just about 70 yr old, so you can see I've been around and owned a business for a long time. My business is Concrete construction.

With that said, only a stupid businessman would Gouge his customers. In business you always have to plan a year or two out, and always think about your customers reaction to everything you do. You NEVER want to shoot yourself in the foot for a quick buck.

The rest of it is not correct. They can sell as fast a they get new stock. There is no shortage. Just folks hording. If we quit hording the dealers would have normal inventories. Same with ammo and guns.

But I see no need to hold a grudge in these times.
I've never used 44 Mag. And after seeing that price I never will. You can do what you think is right, but when you try to gouge or rip me off you'll never never get another chance.

The product isn't non existent, they can sell them as fast a they get them in. If their suppliers gouge them (I don't think so) find a new supplier, don't take it out on the customer.

Even if you are correct, it would be better to wait it out with nothing than to have no customers down the road.

Just my 2 cents.

Please show me where this product is in stock anywhere else... this or any other S&W 15-22 magazine. I think most people would disagree with your assessment of product availability.

I'm just curious why folks are picking on this supplier. Do you know what they paid to get this inventory in? Look at ammo. How many suppliers are selling at old costs? How many people would love to purchase 22lr at double the old cost? Many are buying it at triple the old cost, if not more. How many ammo sellers have been treated this way for offering large inventory for double what was paid last year? Let me know the next time you see an ammo seller get crucified for selling .09 cent or .10 cent 22lr.

Guys if you are still looking for the 25 rounders call S&W direct. They seem to be getting stock in and you shouldn't have to wait too long. Took me a month to get my 25 rounders. And normal pricing. Screw the gouging

WOW I bought two 25 rounders in Jan. for 22 bucks each, wish i had gotten alot more back then. Hopefully the price will go down in the future along with ammo and we can all get back to living and plincking and enjoying our God Given Rights .
