Default Had fun today.

Took the wife and daughter shooting today for the first time. Daughter did well, for never having shot a gun. Wife could not hit the broad side of a barn, even at seven yards.

When they were done, my son and I shot a few mags, and an impromptu contest initiated. The challenge was how many shots could you get inside a three inch circle, off hand, iron sights, at 15 yards, shooting at least one round per second. Mag changes had to be as fast as you could go. No time to rest.

I put 72 shots in the circle. Son put 78. Younger eyes !

Had fun.

A day at the range. Wonderful. A day spent with the family... priceless!

As to on target results... practice may not make perfect, but it will yield improved results. Scrounge up .22 LR ammo wherever you can find it and take your wife, daughter and son shooting as frequently as possible. You will have the joy of seeing them improve as well making wonderful memories with them.
