Nikon P-22 7x32mm AR Rifle Scope BDC 150
My girl got me a new rifle scope this weekend for my b-day. Not a bad gift, i think!
I also found that Nikon produced a SICK iphone/android app that you pick any ammo you have (they have also every type of ammo + all of their scopes) and then add in wind, elevation, etc etc etc = and it gives you exactly where to put the scope.
some facts from their site: - Fully multicoated optics
- Generous, consistent eye relief
- 1/4-MOA hand-turn, tactical-style turrets
- Waterproof, fogproof performance
Equip your Rimfire AR with the rapid sighting speed and long-range accuracy of these riflescopes. It’s available in your choice of a BDC 150 or Nikoplex reticle. Developed specifically for the trajectory of the .22 LR rimfire round, the BDC 150 reticle has open circle aiming points from 50 to 150 yards. The Nikoplex reticle with Rapid Action turrets (one standard velocity and one high velocity) is ideal for shooters who prefer to dial-in shots at a known distance. Riflescope’s zero-reset turret feature simplifies field adjustment. Just sight in as usual, lift the spring-loaded adjustment knob, rotate to your zero and re-engage. Fully multicoated optics deliver maximum brightness and light transmission. 50-yard parallax setting. Generous, consistent eye relief. 1/4-MOA hand-turn, tactical-style turrets. Nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed for waterproof, fogproof performance.

That, or she's doing something wrong and is trying to butter you up, lol. Either way, you win.

I have the same scope on my 15-22 and the app on my iphone. Both are awesome. There are obviously several brands of ammo that aren't listed in their app, but hopefully the database will expand. Love the scope though, very nice. Hope you enjoy yours.

Lots of scope makers do that. Actually you don't even need the one from Nikon. There is a generic calculater I have on my android phone that will produce the ballistic table for any ammo. Then you either have to know the speration of your BDC dots or use the Mil-Dot or MOA to calculate the turret offset, the same as a sniper.

I was going back and forth, but then decided on the BDC. I figured it would be easier for my wife and I to figure out vs the Nikoplex.
This will be our first scope (been using red dots and irons). Our local outdoor .22 range has metal knock-down targets that vary from 50 yards to over 200 (iirc). I thought it would be too complicated for my wife to have to constantly be adjusting the knob based on which targets she was going after.
She already can hit the 150s with the TRS-25 red dot with 3x magnifier using the hold over technique, so it will be a natural transition I think.

when wifey was at cabela's she found some leupold scope rings. THEY SUCKED!! they needed to be slid on the rail, versus having a 2-piece base that allows somewhat of a 'quick disconnect' thumb screw. i just returned those mounts today because saturday i got a few sets of these bad-boys:
(when i equally tightened all the bolts, i used a yellow paint marker to dab a dot on each bolt so i can see if any bolts are traveling out. i also dabbed tiny dots on the rifle and bottoms of the rings so i know exactly where to re-mount the scope when i want to, in order to not mess up the zero)
i used two mini levels before tightening to make sure the scope is level to the rifle:

You could also level the rifle and then look through the scope at a plum bob that is hanging and line the vertical crosshairs up with it.

I have almost the same scope with the rangefinder built in. It's kilt allot of deer on my M77. It's not enough scope for the rifle though. I would be better on a 30 O6.
