Oh yea. Lots of folks bring their own reactive targets. The only real target restrictions we have are on stuffed animals, glass, exploding targets and real people images.

BTW, we are in Atlanta until 11 Oct.

Those are some nice gongs. Their shipping is pretty cheap but I'm trying to figure out why they are charging sales tax (are they in MI.?)

I've had good luck with the AR500 plate steel I've gotten from Wideners too.
Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply INC

The Widener's ones don't have the nice "ears" for the chains, but they also offer squares, prairie dogs and traditional silhouettes (ram, chicken, pig, etc...). They can be cheaper too, depending on how you buy them and size dependant I guess. If you get 6 they ship them for free too.

Great thread. Wish someone that could stand me would build a range nearby.

I know, only myself to blame!

I love what you have done - - - I had a meeting with BSA and DNR today and have another one coming up with the county 4H

The DNR is willing to supply 22 cal rifles and pistols to all three ( GSA as well ) organizations for youth training at my range and they are going to supply the ammo free as well.

Some of the Girl Scout leaders are sure their girls can outshoot the Boy Scouts - - - good clean fun for all!

I teach in Desoto County. Is it possible that I could come out and see your range some weekend?

Sighted in a new optic today so I thought I'd update this thread. I have added the Action Target Tactical Torso, that has the 2 reactive areas. I have also built a shooting platform that sits on the back of my Gator. It sure helps to lock those guns in so they don't bounce around. It also has a tray built in to hold ammo, magazines, tape & other goodies. It just has two bolts holding it on. They just stick thru some holes on the side of the Gator & just pull out.

I was shooting at 45 yards. My last group was the one in the center. I stopped after shooting that.

Epic job, based on some comments in your thread I'm guessing somewhere in N MS, maybe Corinth area? Have relatives that live around there. Very nice.

Nah... just playing with you. Who the heck is gonna come to Mississippi anyway? Where I live, we are not too concerned about robbery. We leave the doors unlocked when we leave to go to town. I live down a narrow, dead end lane with armed rednecks for neighbors. Plus I have 10 dogs inside the house too.

I live outside Holly Springs.

IT IS INCREDIBLE!!!! Might just be the best purchase I have ever made. It is easy to use, switches between all 4 of my 22s and is easy to keep perfectly clean. I love not having to wear hearing protection and love that now my horses don't get all spooky after shooting. It is made of stainless, so should last a lifetime.
