Midwest Ind. end plate adapter
What are the pros and cons of the Midwest end plate adapter MCTAR-30HD?

Pros: It works on the 15-22 without permanent modifications, and does exactly what you want it to do.
Cons: It's bigger & meatier than it really needs to be to hold up a lightweight rifle, which is not really a "con," but more of an observation.

Thanks for info...just trying to figure out how I want to trick out my baby...don't want to get into much 'gunsmithing' if I don't have to....

What sling do you have?
Does your stock fully close with the adapter installed?

Magpul MS3, and no, I don't think it does...but I don't really mind. I pull it out at least 2-3 clicks when I shoot anyway.

Just to note: it's the MCTAR-30 you want for the 15-22, not the 'HD' version.

I realized what I had done right after I posted.....I copied and pasted the HD and should have done the other one.
It's hell to get old!
