So this is my 2nd post here just got my first rifle and choose the 15-22 and I love it. Already a member at my local gun range after going just one time. I picked up the Lucid Red dot Gen 3 after reading all the postive reviews on it, but still waitng for it to be delivered. Tomorrow hopefully!!! Anyways the question is I know the Lucid red dot has a 2x magnifier that screws on but was looking for something with a little more magnification for those 100 yard shot attempts.( key word being attempts). Does anybody have any recommondations that are reasonable priced and will work well with the lucid gen 3.

I'd check Primary Arms. They have their own brand, plus a few others you can look at. Great customer service, as well.

Try the Lucid first, then try it with the 2x. I have a Gen II w/the2x and it will take up a lot of rail space.
With the extra weight and complexity of a 3x add on, I don't see you really gain much, especially on a .22 LR.
Save the money, shoot the heck out of it and you will find your next purchase will be an M&P 15.
I have both rifles, both MOE versions, and have a Lucid as well. I found that I have a preference for my Burris AR332 on my M&P 15 (sorry, modern sporting rifle) and a simple Burris Fastfire III for my M&P 22. The Lucid is a great optic, but I went with the Burris optics on both. My son, who has an CORE AR loves the Lucid.
