Default Quick sight question...

Sooo I have a sneaking suspicion I may be getting a 15-22 for Christmas I know this could probably be considered as putting the cart before the horse, but I'm looking at different red dot/reflex sights and have narrowed it down to three: The Sightmark Sure Shot, the Bushnell TRS-25 (or Primary Arms Micro Red dot, which appear to be about the same.) Noticed Cabela's has the Sightmark on sale for $54.99 right now.

Right now I'm leaning towards the Bushnell or PA. The only advantage of the Bushnell is I can pick it up locally vs ordering the PA and waiting for it to arrive. The PA seems to have MANY stellar reviews on here.

Just wondering which of the three y'all prefer and why.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

Primary Arms

I've owned several and I don't think the quality can be matched for the price. With the removable base model, you can choose from a ton of mounts designed for the Aimpoint micro. That style of mount is more rigid and better looking than what you are stuck with for a TRS25.

The TRS25 is still a quality optic for the money. Those are just a couple of reasons I would choose the PA micro over the Bushnell.

I've never owned anything Sightmark and I never will. They focus on having as many gimmicky features as they can and still making them CHEAP.

Primary Arms has always treated me well. The optics are great and the owner is readily available to answer questions. Outstanding customer service.

As far as shipping, they are the BEST in the business. You'll be shocked at how fast they get product out and to your door.

Primary Arms..

I run Eotechs and Aimpoints on my AR15s. I bought a Primary Arms Microdot basically to prove to a buddy of mine that a cheap red dot wouldn't hold up.

Well now I own 3 PA microdots. Are they an Eotech or Aimpoint? No.. Are they great and worth the $? Yes! They hold up great even on my ARs.

PA shipping is super fast and their customer service is great.

I have a Bushnell TRS-25 on my 15-22 with a UTG .83 riser . It works great for me. I have never used any other red-dot before.

I looked at all the reviews to make up my mind.

Good luck.

I put my old TRS-25 on a Benelli shotgun (for turkey hunts) and now run a PA red dot with a LaRue mount on the 15-22. I like the PA mounting capability better than the Bushnell.

I have the Sight Mark cheap version, they sell for around $40 if you catch the sales. I used it on my 15-22 for hundreds of rounds and it performed flawlessly. Then my son shot a couple hundred rounds of 5.56 through his AR with the same sight. It now is on my 15-22 again and still works perfectly. For the buck, this thing has gone way beyond my expectation.
