Sighting in new 15-22 with Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 Rifle Scope

As title says, I just bought a new 15-22 and the Vortex scope...My only plans with this gun is plinking in my yard and at the range...What's your suggestions/opinions on the distance that I should sight in my rifle? Thanks

First, welcome to the forum. Secondly, you made a good choice with a Vortex. There warranty is unbeatable! As far as the distance, I'd try sighting in at 25 yards. If you have room, take it out to 50 yards. Enjoy the rifle, and stay safe.
 
seems common sense to sight it in at whatever distance you will be shooting it the most.

my .22s are zeroed to 50 yards and I adjust from there.
