If you can even find a 15-22 around here at a dealer's, it usually is closer to $500. Yeeouch!

They're $369 all day long at Hoffman's and sometimes go on sale for $329. That's an all black stock rifle and they're is always one on the floor.

Hoffman's has been selling them for $369 for quite some time. I bought two from them ... Actually paid $349 for one of them.

Yea most local stores here sell them for over 500 out the door when they rarely have them in stock!

I got mine online because it was cheaper, even with shipping. Wish I hadn't though as the idiots sent me the wrong model. Ordered the CA compliant with the flash hider and 6 *** stock, got the non threaded fixed stock lame state compliant. I've said it before on here, and I'll say it again.. No one deal with grand slam guns! Even after checking with them 3 times by phone, and twice by email that it was the threaded barrel version they still messed it up! They shipped it, but didn't tell me or my FFL it was shipped. Then they denied it had tracking info.. Then after pestering them, I got the tracking info. Then I found out they shipped it without a magazine as they didn't have 10rders even though their site said they did and they had previously told me they had found me one! They sent it to my FFLs home address with the wrong name on it. Then when it got here it was entirely the wrong rifle, and they flat out refused to sort it out, stating that they would not exchange it or take it back and any further correspondents from me would be labeled as spam! It was the single worst experience I've had with customer service in the US since I moved here 5 years ago and was one of my larger purchases! So I repeat.. Stay away from grand slam guns! Their site makes them look like a large professional company.. They are not. They're a small hick company from Georgia full of liars and idiots!

I certainly learned my lesson and will only deal locally from now on! Messing about online is not even worth the money I saved!

But they don't have their minimum bid yet, so $325 may not get that one. I tend to prefer to buy locally with a known dealer.

Paying extra is not a "good" thing, but I depend on my LGS and FFL for a lot of little things. It is best that they stay in business, from my point of view.

Hmmm maybe that one advertised locally for $300 is a better deal than I thought. (Private seller with laser and quick mount sighs)

I got mine on Gunbroker, about 10 months ago, and it was $350 total including shipping charges. My local FFL only charges $20 total for the transfer, including the background check. The 15-22 was sold by a large online Gun Shop, and it was new in the box, the standard black with flash hider. Some of these shops sell very large quantities of guns through Gunbroker.

The prices should be less now, not near as many bidders. There are usually some great deals, it just may take a week or two, until you become the high bidder, at the price you want (within reason, not a very low bid). You have to set a limit on how high you are willing to bid and figure in shipping fees, and stick to it.
