Is there an ambidextrous magazine release for the M&P 15-22? If so, I want to buy one.

Sure is. I feel that way about most of the ambi parts I have to buy for my rifles. They sure are nice to have if you shoot lefty though.

It's $10 more than the Norgon, but you get an extended safety button with it. It can probably be bought separately too.

I know Troy makes one too. It is known for digging into the receiver so it probably wouldn't be a great idea to put one on a 15-22. I don't support them anymore anyways.

Alberta tactical rifle supply here in Calgary builds their own rifles. They build a lower with a built in ambi mag release and ambi bolt release. Wonder if anyone else is doing this?

I did not realize that regular AR-15 mag releases would work. That new one referenced above from Ranier might be worth the extra money over the norgon if it puts the left side mag release closer to my trigger finger and gives me more leverage to release a partially full magazine.
