I like mine; fits was perfect, no gap at the beaver tail, feels and looks good.

I also use the beaver tailed version of the Hogue non-finger groove grip with the same results.

Interestingly, this 'gap' that cjt50 is referring to that generally shows with a Magpul beaver tail grip, is the exact same gap that the Mo grip gives when mounted on my Colt LE6290. I installed a Hogue on another AR and noticed the beaver tail touching before the rest of the grip. Installed it on my Colt LE6920 and that's all it took to have no gap.

Odd that there would be different curve on mil spec lower (talking about the AR15, not the polymer 15-22). The standard Moe fits my M&P15A perfectly, but gives this gap when installed on my 15-22 (as is the way my 15-22 MOE is from the factory)

I believe it was Rust-o-leum camoflage spray paint. There was a black, tan, and two greens. Local hardware store had it.

I love my Ergo SureGrip. I had a Mission First Tactical Grip previously and my ideal grip would be the shape of the MFT but the texture of the Ergo. The Ergo is a little thinner than I would like - more clearly, I wish it was a little more rounded. That said, it is still my favorite with the MFT in second (the MFT is not as slip-resistant). The original grip was a Hogue and while I love Hogue grips on many other guns, I don't care for the feel of the AR grip as it seems a little bulky to me and I don't like that the bottom is wider than the top - I prefer a more consistent diameter throughout the grip. It's all personal preference.
