I ordered my Dark earth moe mp-15- 22 from Bud's and I have tons of ammo on hand now I want a reflex or red dot.
I want something that will Co witness with my sights .
The TruGlo Tru-Bright is what I am looking at so I need to know if any of you use it and if you like it.
Help please.

If you are going to use an "inexpensive" red dot, look at the UTG 3.0". They run about $50. You will also need a one half inch riser to get the correct height. I can't recommend the TruGlo...

I have two TruGlo TruBright sights. Both are mounted on Ruger 10-22s I use in Steel Challenges. I love them 1) because my eyes prefer green over red reticles, 2) they provide a choice of four reticles (I use the 2.5 min dot in the 20 min circle in SC), and 3) because they work. I've had one for more than four years, the other about three.

The TruBright sits a tad low on an M&P 15-22. You might want a riser. Currently I'm using a Burris FastFire 3 with an 8-min dot with Burris' AR-F3 base on my 15-22. It looks appropriate and co-witnesses (absolute) with the MBUS sights. But this setup costs about four or five times what a TruBright costs and I don't like it as well or shoot as well with it.

Don't let the low price scare you. I have eight red dot sights. Three of them are TruGlo products, the rest are highly-respected, much more expensive sights. The TruGlo products have been every bit as reliable as the others.

My $.02...

I just upgraded from the TruGlo Tru-Brite to the C-More 8MOA Railway Tactical on my 15-22.

I completely underestimated the difference in the quality of these two sights. The C-more holds up so much better in bright light conditions. in addition, the "dot" does not distort as the intensity is increased. In indoor range conditions my TruGlo was almost unusable due to the wash-out. The C-More had no issues.

On the plus side for the TG, my TG mounted fine and co-witnessed perfectly.

I say all this from the perspective of a competition shooter who will be using his 15-22 exclusively for Steel Challenge matches.

For plinkin' I think the TG is a fine choice, but it has just too many limitations for use in competition.

I saw a youtube video about a cheap, $20, red dot made by FieldSport.
for 20 bucks I figured what the heck and bought it.
mounted it with a 10 dollar mount/riser and took it out to the range where it zeroed my mp15-22 just fine.
the youtube video of this red dot is worth watching, he beats the hell out of it, I mean tortures it, and it just keeps on ticking.
