I have an ALG-ACT trigger in my 15-22 and although it is very light, it is also kinda like a two stage, with the first stage being very gritty. Then the break is very nice. I think this is because the pin location on the 15-22 receiver is slightly off from my AR-15. The trigger is definitely slanted more to the rear than the one in my AR-15.

The same trigger in the AR is perfect!

I think I am going to invest in a Hiperfire trigger, but I am torn between the 24 and the 24C. There is like a $50 difference between them and I don't know which one to buy.

Any Help?

Yes get the 24C, It is a fantastic trigger. I could go on and on but I won't i'll just say get the 24C you will not be disappointed. I love mine.

If you are already looking at the Hiperfire then go for the 24C.

It is an awesome trigger

I remember going through the same dilemma on which to choose the Geissele or the Hiperfire 24C....this video was the one that sold me on the 24C. I watched a lot, this tipped me in favour of the 24C.

Thanks guys,

I think I'll go for the 24C, even if it's $50 more. I still don't have an answer as to why it's worth more, but maybe someone will post an answer. It's really hard to get accurate information on the differences a manufacturer makes to their different triggers. Hiperfire makes about four different triggers and I cannot find a comparison review to help me know the differences.

I truly like the idea of the trigger being able to ignite rimfire ammo with enough impact with the design of the trigger.

The best deal I have found is on the bay at $220, shipped. Do you think that is a real deal or a counterfeit?

Regarding the differences between the 24 and the 24C it is mainly in the tuning of the trigger and the fact that the 24 is a curved trigger, while the 24C is a flat trigger with the addition of the 'hipershoe'.

Which in theory the 'shoe' with its 5 positions on the back of the trigger blade give the user more customisable pull weight in addition to the 3 sets of springs (they reckon it gives 15 distinct trigger pull weights) To be honest i went straight for the 2lb springs with the 'shoe' on the lowest setting to get the lightest possible combination, i have since removed the shoe so i can get even further down the trigger. I prefer it that way.

The real difference is in the pre travel/creep and break of the triggers. The 24C (before the release of the 24-3G and the ECL) was the companies flagship trigger boasting no or no perceptible pre-travel/creep and a super crisp break with short reset.

All the Hiperfire triggers boast the impressive design which improves a lighter pull without sacrificing hammer fall energy (which is very heavy and useful with 22lr primers)

Here is a little write up from Hiperfire themselves regarding the differences...there are also videos on the website that explain the workings and differences.

Difference Between The HIPERTOUCH(R) 24, 24E, And 24C?

Hope this helps but to be honest i would spend the extra $50 and enjoy one of the top of the line AR-15 FCG's. The price you quoted is not bad they retail at $235 from the website and like the Geissele and Timney and other triggers they are not contracted out to china or other makers so i think you can be assured that it will be a genuine product.

:D
