Hey all, I need to share the new panels I found for the handrail. They are made of carbon fiber, G-10 material and while there isn't a real need for heat protection on a 22 rifle, they really give a great grip and they look really great.
It works for me. The Bipod is strictly for bench shooting, The light and laser makes the rifle work for HD if necessary. I have it hanging on the wall in my study, next to my M&P 15 Sport II. No children in the house, so they are both loaded all the time, unless guests are invited, then they are carefully unloaded.
The Vortex Strikefire II is excellent!
The entire assembly (less bipod) is only 6 lbs 14 oz. with magazine.
