Nikon Scope 3X9x40mm
Has anybody used this scope:
Nikon P-223 3-9x40mm BDC 600 Rifle Scope
If so what size rings and riser would I need to mount on 15-22 A/R.
Trying to find choice of a new scope for my rifle.

Yes I have that scope and a Monarch and have used Nikon cantilever mounts for both with good results.

What would be the ring size I need, and what would the Riser height.

One inch rings.
Height is dependent on your preferences. It needs to be high enough that the scope doesn't touch the handguard. Other than that it's personal preference.

The Burris PEPR mount works great. The P-Series Mounts will work well too.
P-223 is better suited for an AR-15. If you haven't purchased it yet, look at the Nikon P-Rimfire 2-7x32 Matte BDC 150. This would be a fantastic scope for the M&P 15-22. (I have the older version that was called the P-22 and it is fantastic.)
P-Rimfire P-Rimfire 2-7x32 Matte BDC 150 from Nikon
Burris PEPR AR-P.E.P.R. Scope Mount | Burris Optics
Nikon P-Tactical Once Piece P-TACTICAL 1-Piece Mount from Nikon
Nikon P-Tactical two piece P-TACTICAL Mount (1-inch) from Nikon
Both the P-223 and the P-Rimfire have 1" tubes so you would need a 1" mount.

Just got the new scope yesterday, hit the range to today, it took 8 shots to zero it in, but I am happy, really happy, that's 25 rounds.
Think I need to bring it up couple clicks!

Congratulations on some nice gear. Where did you buy the scope and mount and what kind of deal/price did you get?

I bought it at Amazon they had the best deal. I bought it from two different venders, cause I wanted that mount. I'm a Prime member so got in it fast.

The Nikon P223 3x9x40 scope is an great tactical scope and I have 2 of them on my AR-15's and they are excellent. On my S&W 15-22 I put a Bushnell 1.75x6x40mm shotgun scope on it and it works great at 50 yards. I use the S&W 15-22 to practice trigger control and shooting as small groups as I can at 50 yards.
