Folks,
I just picked up a newer model 15-22 that has the Magpul furniture with M-Lok fittings. I looked up the M-Lok fittings on cheaper Than Dirt's pages (over 170 items). I see that I can possibly get a swivel attachment for the front handguard that (maybe) slots into a handguard hole. I am used to Picatinny Rails, so this stuff is all new fangled medicine to swallow. Showing my age I reckon. My larger concern is the rear swivel. Pics of early 15-22's showed the old standard sling swivel protruding out of the collapsible buttstock down by the toe of the stock. Mine has nothing but a round hole with a metal liner, and a small slot that I suppose I could thread a sling end through, although a quick-detachable fitting would be my preference. If that round hole is actually an M-Lok receptacle for a quick-detach sling swivel, that would be neat. If not, perhaps a fitting exists that would allow me to attach a sling swivel to the hole? If anyone knows the secret answer regarding this hole in the stock, please enlighten this oldster, so that I don't waste time and money ordering something that won't work. All I am looking to do, is to run a two-point sling for carrying this little .22 around during Steel challenge shoots, and when plinking at some squirrels
Thanks!
