Default 15-22 Front Pivot Pin Detent

Searching for another fix to support my 15-22 love/hate relationship. Both my son and I have 15-22s, and after the trigger pin walking fix, and then the ejector tweaking and aftermarket extractor to solve the fail to eject issues, mine (and his) will eat any ammo except sub-sonic that I feed it. At the love place for now.

Did some swapping and picked up another one with plans to give it to my daughter. Taught her to shoot on a bolt action .22, and now would like her to be comfortable with a semi-auto platform in case the zombies attack.

I have cleaned it up and pretty much have it ready for her to shoot. But, during takedown the front pin came completely out. I realize my OCD has kicked in, but basically I want to hand her a fully functional rifle with no issues. After cleaning and fixing a lot of little things on this rifle this is the last snag. The front pivot spring and detent are gone.

I have searched and researched for this little insignificant part and still not sure. I just don't want to be in the field and end up with the pin going into the grass.

I am certainly not an expert but do my homework. I know the 15-22s have some differences in width and so not all parts are interchangeable with the lower assembly on a standard AR platform. I am searching for a $2 part and can't find it.

So, my question is if something as simple as the spring and detent on the 15-22 are compatible with typical AR parts, or if there is a difference. If there is a difference I sure can't seem to find the parts.

If this is in another thread I do apologize. I don't think I am an idiot, but this one has me searching. Any help is much appreciated!

The front pivot pin spring and detent are the same as a full size AR15

When I was a full tile smith, I kept a piece of 1/16” ss tig rod on the bench to make the detents. Bevel the end with a Dremel cutoff wheel and whack it off to length.

A plastic bag over the top of one's work keeps the detent from launching too far afield. There are tools that help, but I've found a plain old Torx wrench such as supplied with scope bases & rings works fine. Slip the long end through the holes, hold down and keep everything under the baggie just in case.
