Default Need Your Help with an Aftermarket Trigger for Project Appleseed

Project Appleseed has static targets shot from prone, sitting, and standing.

What aftermarket trigger would be good to put in my 15/22?

What vendor sells it?

Thanks

Any of the Rise Armament triggers. You'll need a set of non-rotate trigger pins for the polymer frame.

I have had mixed results with replacement triggers on 15-22’s with the exception of CMC and the PSA clone (which I suspect is made by CMC).

I’ve been using the Rise Armament Rave 140 flat trigger in mine for almost two years and it’s been great.

Yep. Same here, except the SST trigger. Works just fine in the 15-22. I got mine on sale for under $100.00 a few years ago. And the pins were included.

I have a Gen1 which came with narrow trigger pins so my first mod was to install Geissele Colt 901 pins which fit perfectly. I then tried to install a Geissele G2S trigger but it caused the bolt to hang up. I uninstalled that and put in a Geissele SSA-E from another rifle and that worked perfectly. The SSA-E is a little overkill for this rifle but it works really well with the light trigger weight and crisp break so I kept it in there.

A RISE (and when it's "On $ale") is pretty hard to beat...! Use the included pins on another build and go for the dedicated MP 15-22 pins as well.

Best upgrade around!

Cheers!

The Rise Armament is out of stock at a couple of vendors (including Rise itself).

How is the Wilson Combat Tactical Trigger Kit Single Stage?

Looks like Palmetto State Armory has a few different RISE models in stock.

$99.99 for this one on sale.
Just a moment...

Or, check out LaRue.
