Picked up my M&P 15-22 today
I won't be able to fire it for at least a few weeks. Looks great and everything is solid. My concerns were unfounded as most of you told me they would be.
The reason I come here.
Thanks
Rob

Outstanding! It looks good. Clean it, lube it, and go shoot it! Awaiting range report....

Cleaned and lubed today. Could not believe how dry it was. Can't wait to get out and shoot it.

It will run clean when it's run "dry." The only lube necessary is a spritz of Hornady One-Shot on the rails and the bolt grooves that ride the rails. There are no other bearing surfaces.

Glad you got it. High 50s today so went to the range. Took my 15-22 as I always do in addition to some other firearms. Mine is 11 years old. If you have concerns about accuracy see pictures below. 50 yards with Norma Tac22 40 grain lead round nose. Nikon P-22 scope. First ten rounds of the day. Had not been to range in six months and my 70 year old eyes aren’t as good as they used to be.
Enjoy your new rifle.
