Just handled the new M&P 15 in dedicated 22RF. (Not a conversion unit). MSRP is $499. Has a match barrel and very accurate. Is compatible with all functioning same as the M&P, so would make a great training rifle. Look for it at the NRA convention.

This one is going to be hot! My local gun shop already has 4 verbal orders...no info on the S&W website yet.

Fall '09 availability??

When is the NRA convention??

It's in the latest S&W catalog. Looks pretty neat. They are offering a version for those states that regulate magazine capacity. It will accept a standard AR match trigger.

Awesome I saw this on Shooting USA at the shot show. I have been checking for info but nothing at the S&W sight. I was hoping it would be reasonable and $499 is reasonable to me. I can't wait to check one out. I hope they are reliable and accurate.
