Default Any TLR-1 Users?

I swapped my Streamlight TLR-1 over to my M&P45. Those unfamiliar with Insight's TLR lights they come with 4 different rail Keys to fit different styles.

The MilSpec 1913 rail key actually fit loose, letting the light rattle a little and after snugging up the set screw it could still be rocked a little.

I pulled out the assorted keys thinking maybe the S&W99 key was the better fit. It's even smaller.

The Beretta 90TWO key is a perfect fit on the M&P rail. It fits with no back & forth movement at all.

FYI

I tried those type of lights. I don't like using my trigger finger to activate a light. I use one of these.

I have one on my M&P .45,the 1913 key fits just fine, nice and tight, try the Glock it fits mine as well but lets the light sit a bit too far back.

Um...the switch is ambidextrous, you can flip it on or off with your left index finger,it also has a "temp on" where the switch flips back off if you let it go.

I've got the TLR-1 on a Glock 19. Perfect fit, a great light, and at a price that can't be beat. I actually bought two, and plan to mount the other one on an AR carbine.

True. But the RLS light is much more intuitive. Much easier to use.

I have a TLR-1 on my M&P9, great light and does not reall add a noticeable amount of weight or size. Easy to use and tough.

Mine is a little dirty from a training class and is not gonna get cleaned anytime soon. The trainer of that class put 13,000 rounds through his M&P9 without cleaning. The gun/light saw 500 rds that day.

With a two hand hold I use my support hand thumb to run the switch, work's well for me on my 9mm and 45ACP M&P's. Now with strong or weak hand shooting this donna work.

My Department has issued the TLR-1 for years now without one single issue. The C4 lamp models are very bright as well. I had mine on an M&P 45 for a while using the 1913 key. Worked fine for me, never thought to try the 90-two key. The Glock key will not work for me (unless it's on a Glock).
