mp45 ambidiestrus safety?
hello all outhere, has anyone remove the safety of mp45, I bought mine with it it was the only one at the gunshop at that moment and I got it close to 2 years ago for a good price $529 nib, I wonder if it is easy to do my mp40c does not have and now I realize that I dont really need it on my 45, your input will be appreciated.

I just popped the slide off mine, looks like you could remove it if you took the frame apart, i doubt its connected to anything else.
Thats probably not much help, but now I'm interested in removing it too.

thanks for your input I will try myself to do it also send the question to factory I guess they will answer sometime next week I was just hoping maybe somebody has done it or there is a video or book outhere that show me how to do it, thanks anyway.

Well you'll wind up with a hole in the frame to deal with,not likely to cause trouble but I'd be wary of debris getting in the guts with that hole.
I don't see why people get all bent out of shape about the safety,maybe you don't need it but it's nice to have,if you really don't want it I'd suggest trading it away for a non-safety model.

thanks for your input, I understand that s&w have a pc that will cover the holes and in this economy is easier and cheaper than exchange it.
