Need SKU for M&P 45 without Thumb Safety and Mag Disconnect
I want to order a M&P45 without thumb safety and magazine disconnect. What is the SKU for that model. The S&W website does not provide any information.
I wish S&W wouild hire the same individuals who manage the Glock or Kahr websites with straight forward information.

M&P 45
I have a pistol like you are asking about. No thumb safety or mag disconnect. Full size, can fire with magazine removed.
On the case is Item: 02475928
Product: 109306 which is what the web site calls SKU.
Features: 10-AD-LG-GP-BS-SL-SD-FP-DM-ZL
Hope something in all that helps.

Many thanks, I orderd a M&P45 and it arrived with the thumb safety. I told the delaer that i wanted one without the thumb safety or magazine disconnect. The dealer stated that all S&W M&P's come with a mag disconnect and I said they did not.

I just checked my box and it says 109306 also.
no thumb safety
no mag safety
no internal lock
And yeah, they need to do a better job of getting out information, especially considering the dealers don't know this stuff either.

Pages 14 & 15 of the first part of the 2010 catalog contain many of the product codes for M&P pistol models.
http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore..._Catalog_1.pdf
I've found it's still helpful to call and have a customer service person look up and confirm product codes, though, especially since they have access to more product codes than are listed in the catalog (like LE variations). On more than a couple of occasions even a cs rep has had to look something up or call someone to confirm a feature for a particular product code, though.
You can also look up some of the product spec sheets on their website, some current and some archived ... like this one: http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore...45_Compact.pdf
... at this website page: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/w...bcontent=63303
The problem is that the company doesn't make a Product Spec page for each and every model (or variation), and I've never really figured out how they decide to make spec sheets for various configurations.
When I ordered my M&P's at different times I still called and confirmed the features and product codes, though.

Now, I'm confused. Is there a mid and a full size?
I looked up the SKU 109307 and couldn't find it. All I could find was a 109306 which says it's a .45 10 round cap with a 4 inch barrel and no safeties and the photo looks like a full size pistol.
Is there also a 109306? If so, what's the difference? Longer barrel? I'm getting ready to buy one and want to understand.

Just answered my own question. The 109306 is the 4 1/2 inch barrel (full size) and the 109307 is the 4 inch mid size.
