Now that I've determined that the pistol is reliable enough for concealed carry, I went holster shopping for one with a snap.

Of course, the M&P isn't exactly "tiny" so one needs something to keep the pistol close to the body.

I like the three slot configuraton for carrying on strong side or cross draw.

$60.00 for a leather holster. A little pricey, but one can spend more.

It's the BlackHawk #18.

Also, Sportsman's Warehouse had some Fiocchi brand ammo on the shelf for $13.99. They load their rounds on the peppy side, probably close to NATO spec.

Looks like is rides pretty high. I'm going to look into it. I love my holster but its making me carry in a way that I don't like to.

I just ordered my holster.

MGO, how close do it fit to your body?

With a proper belt, close enough to make it concealable with most untucked shirts. I've learned that the belt is the key to prevent "hang out".
