M&P Shield Night Sights (Trijicon/Ameriglo)
Okay so I have read all the threads about the Trijicon SA37 kit working for the shield but dvor.com had just the rear SA37R on sale for $63 and the Ameriglo SW-212-230-GR (Trijicon sights green/yellow circle in Ameriglo metal) on sale for $40.
I measured the height of the base and the crown on the shield factory front sight and came out with .230 on height which matches the Ameriglo specifications, and measured crown to base on rear sight to SA37 (which of course everyone already knows this works), and then used a 10ff (free shipping basically) so $103 for both of them shipped.
Just wondering has anyone tried this combo yet, or any variance of this. I just couldn't go with I think are the HD's because they are so massive imo.
Already pushed the sights out with my pusher tool and now dvor.com needs to ship my sights!
Will post pictures here once I get them in and mounted, just really interested on combinations people have tried and not just the standard Ameriglo set, Trijicon SA37 set, etc..
