Default Reliability

Thinking of buying an M&P 45 but reading about many problems with them in older posts on forums. Have the bugs been ironed out? I can't think of anything more important that reliability in a self defense weapon. Thanks.

Were these bugs you speak of in the M&P .45 only or all the M&P calibers??

I have 45c and it functions perfectly, no jams yet and close to 1K rounds of handloads, factory ammo.

Thanks for replies. I don't think specific to 45 only, I read about M&P's frequently dropping magazines, also something about a roll pin working loose.

I have over 1000 rounds through my .40 so far, and not a single malfunction of any kind. It is a DUK#### sn, DOM 5/2010. Great pistol!
