Need light and holster for m&p
Need tactical light and holster for m&p. Any recommendations? I have a fobus which I like but does not permit holstering with light attached.

Streamlight TLR 1 is good for the money, IMHO. Safariland 6004 and other similar holsters are made for that combination.

+1. Raven Concealment makes the best light-compatible holsters IMO.

Get the TLR-3. I took it outside and there is plenty of focused center light, and "spill" lighting for handgun ranges. It is almost flush with the muzzle end of the full sized M&P.
On sale now at MidwayUSA, ($74.99), and if you look around the internet, there might be a coupon code for the company, to save more.
I've never tried it, but I believe Galco makes a leather holster for the M&P with the TLR-1 and TLR-3. I have no experience with it, but it's called the Halo.

If it is going on a fullsize, get the TLR-1.
If it is going on a compact, get the TLR-3.

tlr-1 and -3
I know the length is different but is the profile the same when looking down the axis of the light? I was wondering if a holster for a tlr-1 would work for a tlr-3 also. Is it easy to flip these lights on? I have an NcStar light for my m&p but to turn on you move a switch from left to right. Unfortunity the switch protrudes from the side of the body and would not work well with a holster.

I have a M&P 40 i use a CrossBreed super tuck in side the pant. It is the most comfortable holster i have ever had. I carry my m&p all day and sometimes i have to reach back and feel if it is still there.

Anything new on this front? I have a M&P9fs and a TLR4. Right now I have to remount the light each evening before bed, makes the laser not accurate. I looked at the phantom and for some odd reason they charge extra for the TLR4? That makes NO sense as it is amaller than the TLR1&2? Can't figure out why charge extra for the 4 and not for the 1,2,3.. The holster also looks like it is OWB and I know I want IWB for CCW...
