Thanks for the clarification on the serrations. I can see your point about them and there function now. Again those are one of a kind M&P handguns, very nice..

Nothing fancy. Burwell 4.5 pound trigger, Bowie night sights, index stippled on the frame on this side (only).

About #2, is that a Talo Edition or something special? Did it come with all 3 mags? I am thinking about getting an M&P 40c Talo Edition.
Any thoughts?
This would be my first semi-auto, I have my dad's old K-38 revolver.

M&P .40 FS
M&P .40c
442 no lock
My own stippling work on the .40c -it really helped to get a good purchase on this shorter grip.

Which rear sight are you using here? Is it just the stock rear with the white dots blacked out? I hate the white dots on the stocker, they are way too big and confusing for my eyes.

Stock rear. I took a little black paint and a toothpick and colored in the white dots. I am going to change them out to 10-8 Performance at some point, but for now they do the job just fine.

Hey Everyone, This is my first post but I am going to get right down to business and here's my M&P45 Full Size
This was it AS I was purchasing it at the gun store.
One of the first bullets test-fired at Smith and Wesson
My attempt at the "artsy" picture
It at home
By itself without the magazine in it.

I noticed some models seem to have the writing in white and most others are just in black..is this something people are doing themselves or is this done by S&W but only on certain models? I think it looks pretty good on the 357 sig above with the white writing on it. I think someone else in another picture had it in red writing. Nice.
If you did do it yourself, how did you do it without getting paint (or whatever you used) all over the rest of the firearm and making it look like junk?
Thanks!
Mat

Nice smith. Are you doing 50 mph, holding the wheel and your pistol with one hand and snapping pics with the other hand?

So I wasn't kidding in my other post. The majority of the votes coincided with my gut, and I picked up the M&P9 Carry and Range kit.
The New M&P Family. The M&P15-22 purchased by my dad on Monday. And the M&P9 purchased by me... Today... hah
How the M&P9mm was packaged
The entire Carry and Range Kit
Close-up of the M&P9. It's a bit smaller than the M&P45 but it still feels good in my hands.
M&P9 logo
Thanks Massachusetts for the stupid looking 10 round magazines. This Full Sized 9mm has a smaller capacity than other state's compact.
The two Sisters. On the left is the M&P9 and on the right is the M&P45
Top: M&P9, Bottom M&P45. The M&P9 has a .25 inch shorter barrel.
The Blade-tech holster that comes with the Carry and Range Kit
Logo on the Holster
I cannot wait till I get to the range this weekend. 4 Brand new guns to play with in addition to my M&P45 and the stuff we've already got. I'm SO excited. I really hope it doesn't rain.
