I need a M&P 40 or 9 barrel for a project

Hey All-

Does anyone out there have a FS or Long Slide M&P 40 or 9 barrel that is no longer serviceable they can let go really cheap? I need one for a mock-up in a project I am doing, and the barrel will end up destroyed. I do not want to buy a good barrel just to wreck it. If you can help, please PM me...

Just out of curiosity, what kind of a project are you planning????

It is a project to allow me and my fellow shooters in Cali bring in all the M&P variations, not just the ones the state says we can have. None of the M&P pro or long slides are on our approved list. There is a loophole in the silly law that allows single shot handguns with extremely long barrels to bypass the law. (Think how they convert 1911's in England) In any case, I need a barrel to lengthen, and I would rather not destroy a new barrel. The gun, say a 9L gets a block temporarily placed in the magwell, and a long barrel conforeming to the exemption. The gun is transfered to the new owner, who is free to return it to its original configuration once it is in their name. Yes, I know Cali sucks when it comes to gun laws, but we are a very creative bunch...

Please, someone hook me up with a barrel that is gathering dust in your garage. 9mm is prefered, but 40 S&W would work. Shot out, slight bulge, rust, pitting is all ok...
