I called S&W this morning and the shipment they received on 12/1/11 is gone already but the guy I spoke with indicated I should check with major dealers as a bunch were shipped out.

I was already on an email notification list at Natchez Shooters Supplies to alert me when magazines came in. Got an email today and ordered 2 for an M&P22 I just purchased on GunBroker.com.

they want $15 shipping for 1-2 mags. Rip off.

Might be, but seems to be a pretty standard rate for UPS. Packing isn't free and someone needs to get paid to prepare it for shipping... They could have charged $34.10/ea and shipped for free and I still would have bought them.

Shipping for me came to $13.73 for 2. Supposed to be here Thursday which is three days from order.

I live in GA so I could not order them. I did find them on S&W's website and it was only $4 more.

We'll see how long it takes to get to me.

My two mags arrived Thursday. Pick up the M&P22 in about 16 hours from my FFL. 1050 rounds in hand. ready to load a few mags and give it a work out!

I ordered a box of 60 pens from Amazon for $4.60 and that INCLUDED free shipping by UPS.

Midway is a company I quit buying from because of inflated shipping and a 'service fee' if the dollar amount is too low.

I have a friend that runs a warehouse and ships via FedEx and UPS. The prices the big shippers pay for shipping would boggle your mind. Small packages cost less than a buck, and I had him ship a 40# box for me once that would have cost me $28 with my business account at UPS, and his cost was under $5.

The post office would ship those mags for about $3, and I know UPS was cheaper. I don't pay for inflated shipping charges. It's just wrong.

And now I go to order an extra and they are gone. Nowhere to be found except on the s&w site. Not keen on paying 5 bucks extra plus shipping when I needed to place an order elsewhere anyways. Oh well.

S&W sent me a post card (of all things) letting me know my order for mags is, well back ordered. BUT a member here was told by S&W that som emags went out to distributers and to contact them... My LGS did the leg work and secured 3 for me... no shipping charges

Bulk ammo shipping costs: this is one area where shipping costs can be painfully high... so I place orders through Cheap Ammo For Sale | In Stock Ammunition For Sale good pricing, low shipping cost.

Anyway, if you have a LGS, I'd stop by and see if they can locate the mags.... because lord knows how long before S&W will restock.

I spoke with cusatomer support today (canceled my 10rd mag order as I was able to secure some 12 rds from LGS)... anyway, the support person said they "have a few 12 rds mags left)
