Default 45 Compact with Laser - with Pic

I really love my 45c since I received it almost 2 weeks ago. Has factory iron sights. After hemming and hawing about night sights and/or laser (my 9c has Trijicon night sights), I decided to put a compact laser (Laserlyte V3) on the rail. Cost was $84. I wear contacts so I needed something that would help me acquire a target fast if awoken during sleep (I hope that day never arrives).

Anyway, I think what I bought works really well as far as lasers go. Because it's a compact unit, I am able to place it close to the front of the gun. This leaves plenty of room between the laser and the trigger guard for my left hand - I am right handed, and wrap my left fingers across the trigger guard.

Turning on/off the laser is simple... I just move my left index finger towards the front of the gun, and my finger engages one of the two (2) on/off buttons. Been training with it today. Turning the laser on/off is becoming second nature.

Just sharing in case anyone else is considering one. As a side note, I won't become dependent on the laser... but I will use it for training, and for nighttime defense.

I really hope that crimson trace comes up with a grip laser for the 45c. I love my 45c but have the crimson trace on my other M&P's and really like them. Holsters are hard enough to find without adding a rail laser to the mix. I am sure that this one is great but I just "need" a Crimson Trace........

CT grips are nice. If one was available, I might have considered one. I have small hands and I use the medium backstrap. I think the CT grip makes the grip slightly larger than the stock medium backstrap.

That's a nice size laser. Will you be able to find a holster for it?
