M&P 45 want to buy a manual safety lever

Hi all,
I recently purchased a M&P 45 full. It does not have the manual safety on it. I see that I can add one but I'm not having any luck finding one I can purchase.

Does anybody have a source for the lever?

I see many have removed theirs, I would not mind purchasing a used one if anybody has one.

Suggestion would be to call S&W direct. They may be able to assist you with that.

Some folks remove them and have them laying around. Search and/or post an add in the classifieds here. That's how I found mine. Paid $35 shipped as I recall.

Yes, this company, Speedshooterspecialties, comes highly recommended, and I concur.
I recently wanted to install a safety on my M&P9L, and they had a great price, and fast/reasonable shipping ( around $30 total, IIRC).
The job was simple and easy, all you'll need is a very small punch.
The 2 parts you'll need to order are at the bottom of this page:

edit: They have the detent ball and spring, but it looks like the lever is out of stock, but they'll probably be back in before long. I'd give them a call and ask.

Yes you are correct. I have already looked on this site based on another post up here. They are out of stock. Was just looking for another source.
