Default 9c 1.0 question

Just picked up a used 9c. To reset the trigger, my mag needs to be in. Is the normal? It resets just fine with mag in place although the reset is barely audible but won’t reset if the mag is removed. i built both of my Glock’s and am Much more familiar with the trigger systems in those. Any input will be appreciated.

Are you sure your model doesn't have the magazine disconnect? On the ejection side of the slide, does it have the "Caution: Capable of firing with magazine removed" laser etching on it?

Yes. Has the engraving about being able to fire with mag removed and also has the lever inside that is push up when inserting a mag.
So you’re saying this is a mag safety? Is this reversible ? Does swapping out the trigger remove this ?

If the slide has the engraving about being able to fire with mag removed AND it has this lever, it's not in original condition. Either someone added the mag disconnect or swapped the slide. Just for the record, the gun will work fine as is.

The mag disconnect can be removed. It's fairly easy, but if you're not handy with mechanical devices, I suggest getting someone to do it for you or at least help.

Do you know how to remove the sear block?

The are plenty of YT vids taking out the mag safety. You do have to replace a spring. It can be a bit challenging getting the new spring in so have a spare (or two) handy.

Yet so easy a child can do it.
