Congrats & Welcome Aboard Rick!
I'm sure you'll enjoy your M&P 9 as much as I enjoy mine.

We don't like to call ourselves "addicts". We call ourselves firearms enthusiasts.
I know it's just a matter of semantics, but it makes the addiction pill easier to swallow.

Good choice. IMO, a good quality .22lr semi-auto pistol is the best tool for learning & ongoing practice.
I'm really liking your taste in firearms. Biased because I have one too.

The LCR has one of the smoothest & best DAO revolver triggers. Learn to shoot a DAO snubbie well, and everything else is a piece of cake.
Again... great taste in firearms.

A 22/45 & LCR 38 are "real" guns.
Again welcome to the firearms enthusiast family. From one firearms enthusiast to another, have you held a M&P 22 yet? Feels exactly the same in the hand as the M&P 9. M&P semi-auto practice/plinking goodness at a fraction of the ammo cost.
