Default Absolutely Simply WOW! M&P9c

I know the big buzz is about the M&P9 Shield and while I am impressed with that I wanted to post about my new acquisition, my M&P9c.

I had a G26 and never really did warm to it. It functioned flawlessly and it was properly small but not in the right areas. The M&P9c is just in between the G26 and the G19 in size and with the thumb extension on the magazine it makes it as close to a perfect fit as any compact or subcompact I've ever shot. 12-round magazines gives it 2 more than the 26 but 3 less than the 19 and even wearing OWB it disappears nicely under just a loose t-shirt.

200-300 rounds in one evening and I was just amazed at how much fun it was to shoot. No typical sub-compact pain from having too little gun to hold on to while shooting and groupings were very good at 15 yards. I am not a precision shooter so I know the gun is much more capable than what I was able to get out of it, but I would easily shoot this little gun in one of my monthly IDPA matches something I wouldn't have ever thought of with my G26.

All in all in one evening this little gun became at the least my 2nd favorite gun of all time coming very close to knocking off my M&P45 as top dog. No failures of any kind, everything ran like a top and the icing on the cake was it deposited all my spent brass in a nice little pile about 3 or 4 feet away.
