Smile Before and after.....

So I have a couple of M&P 9MM Pro Series 5" pistolas and I thought I show you some before and after pictures.

Before:

After:

Added a full APEX carry trigger kit...polished feed ramp and internals...Trijicon night sights....slide with top serrations and radiation hazard symbol and nickle boron finish by ATEi in Michigan. I stippled and painted the frame and there it is. Next up for some serious work will be an M&P .45.

What is the ATEi turnaround time?? I really want to send mine in for some work, but don't want to be without my baby for too long.

Hmm .. why didn't you have Doug do the sear & trigger work? His sear has been said to be superior to Apex by those who have used both.

He had mine about a month I'd say. Best way to know for sure is to give him a call

Mine was a 5" long slide and by design the front side serrations were not advisable because they may end up cutting you. Normal slide lengths I was told wouldn't be a problem.

I have a feeling my M&P .45 will be finding it's way up there and end up looking a lot like your fullsize

Gotcha.. very nice and functional for one handed racking. I will be getting full serrations on my Shield when he gives me the nod to do so. He has been busy doing trigger work/sears on several Shields from the Michigan area.
I live 1/2 hr away from his shop so I am fortunate that I can personally drop off/pick up to avoid shipping.

That full size is one of Doug's personal guns. He had my Shield last weekend as I had the 1st Shield in our area, bought 4/13/12 am from Cabelas, stopped at my range (before I made it home) to test it and called Doug as I was leaving the parking lot from my range. Doug was surprised that I actually had one and had me bring it in later that day to do the trigger work and for him to inspect. Anyways, I left my new M&P with him because he wanted to borrow it over the weekend so I left it with him ::sniff:: lol .. So he said .. "Here, take this home and play with it" It was the full size in the pic I posted. That gun is SWEEEEET !! A friend of his does the grip reductions and stippling. Both guys do amazing work !!
