Default m&p pro core anti flat point :/

I had ftf several times at the composition last sat.
It seems the flat point bullets hang on the front edge on the loading ramp.
I've shot around 500-700 fp rounds in it so far.
.Plunk test says all is well with oal.
Anyone else have this trouble with the 5" pro feeding.

I have no trouble with them, are you using factory ammo, or handloaded ammo? If factory I'd say put some more rounds through it before condemning it. If handloads then you might want to look at OAL.

When you say "flat point bullets" what do you mean by this? Are you talking about semi wad cutter bullets? I have shot hollow points, round nose and semi wad cutter bullets out of both our 5" Pros and 9c's with no problems. We have shot lead, plated and jacketed bullets, again no issues other than the lead being smoky, but that is the nature of shooting lead.

If your talk'n swc's then maybe your holding the shoulder of the bullet a bit to short . Give it a about 30ths proud of the brass and see if it runs better. If the bullet profile is the tapper flat point. No idea.

Wound up being a mag. The follower was hanging up on the mag lock tab. A little whittling fixed it.

Btw ..RN FP, WC, HP is common bullet description, reloaders know this.
