Sunday was my first chance to try out my new M&P22 at the range. I set up a regulation 50 foot bullseye target at 33 feet and put 9 out of 10 in the black with the first magazine.

While it's not a custom target gun, and not priced like one, it held it's own against my other new .22, a SIG 1911-22, also not a custom target gun. The SIG has become my go to .22 for the past month or so.

I had a few minor issues with the M&P, but nothing another few hundred rounds won't cure. I tried a few bowling pins at out 25 yard line, took out 3 for five rounds fired. Not bad for me.

So give me an idea how big that 50 foot Bulls eye is. I dont range shoot as Im a lucky one that can walk out the back door and plink away. I make my own targets and after 21 mags through my 22 now, im getting maybe 5" groups at 10 yards. Im not a great shot by anymeans but just wondering if this thing is able to group tighter than that.
