Default Shield At 25 Yards

I had a delightful day at the range. I have now shot 208 rounds with zero issues in two range sessions.

The magazines are seating much easier the second range trip.

As usual I was able to blast the black of the target at 7 yards.

For fun I thought I would try shooting an 8 1/2" x 11" target at 25 yards using the extended magazine with 9 rounds and just my two hands for support.

As you can see 8/9 hit the target and three blasted the black with one bulls eye.

I couldn't be more pleased with my Shield. She is a keeper for life.

Russ

There's your problem right there... you're using a 50' target at 25 yards. That's about 25' too far away

I should get another go at a Shield this week.

You must be a fellow Utahn if your shooting at Doug's!

Nice shooting Russ. I had my 1'st range session this afternoon and put roughly 250 through my new Shield just to wring it out. Started out with the mild Winchester White Box 115 grn FMJ working my way up to Federal 147 grn HST. I'm happy to report the pistol function flawlessly with several different loads. As other have reported the Shield is so comfortable you could shoot it all afternoon. Next range trip I'll settle down and see how accurate it is. Today was just quickly shooting the pictured loads through it to see how it would run. The Shield is not only a practical CCW but also great fun to shoot.
