Uplula works great. The 8rd works fine, the 7rd not so much. I have to work so hard to get #7 in that I sometimes leave it out. I'm going to give it some time to see if it works itself out, if it doesn't I'll look into modifying the follower some..

Give it time and reloading/firing several times. Get an UpLULA for easier and fast loading.

+1 on the lula loader - I think I got mine from Midway and it works great on the Shield mags. The universal is the model I have.

Is that a # 1 as in Model of Lula ? or just ask for Universal for 9 mm
I see on the Magula web site (loader will not fit S&W 9mm mags.)

I use the Maglula UpLULA Pistol Magazine Loader on both my Shield and 9mm Compact magazines. Works on the 7 & 8 round magazines equally well.

I didn't know they made more than one UpLula, do they?

Mine even works with my little BG380 magazines. I bet if I skinnied up the pusher thingy that it would work with .22 magazines.

Fabulous little device!

The MagLula Uplula (Universal Pistol) is great for stubborn new mags (or general quick reloading). It works on everything from 9mm - .45, Single and Double Stack mags (hence the UP in Uplula).
The best $25 I've ever spent.

Works on .380 as well (some call it a 9mm short)

I bought the UPLULA this weekend at the Manatee Suncoast Gun Show and think it is the best thing since sliced bread.

Used my Glock one today for my first time out. It's a little big and you need to line it up, but it saved my fingers today.
