MY FIRST IWB HOLSTER

Well, I made my first decision and purchased the Galco Summer Comfort IWB holster for my M&P 40 full size pistol. It was an internet purchase and paid $58.36 plus $6.24 for shipping. It came to the house in four days via Fedex. The leather was a little stiff out of the box but following the directions it quickly conformed to the proper sizing. I wore it all afternoon sitting, standing, and walking and it was very comfortable. This holster when wore at the 4 o'clock position is very concealable and is held tight between my body and pants. My pants did draw down a bit on my strong side but I guess it just because I am a little shall we say pear shaped at 5' 11" and 240 pounds. Suspenders would help alot if I were to use them under my shirt but then that brings another problem during personal times ;-}. All in all, I an very happy with the Summer comfort both for the fit and price.

I would love to review my RKBA holster but I dont have it. I ordered it back in late June when the website said 2-4 weeks for delivery. Its going on 8 weeks out now. Anyone else got a holster from these guys?

Kusiak, DeSantis Nemesis, PJ

I am using the Kusiak for IWB and have another Shield in a DeSantis Nemesis (use the Glock 27 or LC9 version) in case my wife wants to put in her jacket or purse.

Just ordered a PJ IWB Kydex holster this week. Good reviews from several sources and he was very quick to respond to a question via email.

The Kusiak leather IWB is the one with the extra mag sleeve attached. I give it a 7 out of 10 star rating.

Pros:

Well made, attractive, leather
Strong clip
Inexpensive ($45)
Conceals well at 3 o'clock

Cons:

Stiff new leather (will likely soften up)
Not canted enough to keep extended mag from printing

Let you know how the PJ performs for me when it arrives.

Here is a IWB holster I made a couple months ago based on the Crossbreed Supertuck. It took about 3 hours and about $6.00 bucks. I CC a Ruger P95 currently and at times I forget I have it on. The P95 is a bit chunky, but this holster carries it very well.

I didn't have pictures in my other posts but I thought I'd add some.

A Bianchi 100 made for a G26 which I wet a little around the trigger guard area and then stuffed the Shield in for a perfect fit.

I use it for quick trips and the OF for all day wear.

I don't have a Shield but I have a 9c. I also have a PJ holsters holster and love it. Great fit, even the edges of the kydex are beveled so there are no sharp edges. Shipped in about 2.5 weeks. and I love it.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

If you haven't already, you might want to take a look at UBG Holsters IWB line UBG Holsters . Nate puts out a fine product at very reasonable prices. I have one of his Canute models for a Kel-Tec P11 that I absolutely love ( the holster that is, the p11...not so much:(). I'm waiting on a Shield to come in and I'll be ordering one of Nate's Strikers for that. Best of luck with your choice.

Ordered my Shield holster from N82 Tactical yesterday afternoon. http://n82tactical.com/n82store/ It has already been shipped. Same day service. Now I gotta wait about a month for the Shields to get into the MA pipeline.

I know I'm quoting my own post but I just wanted to let you all know that my N82 shield holster came today. It looks to be a great product. Very well made and when I put it on the comfort was immediately apparent.

Don't be afraid to give one of these a try.

How much Thickness did it add? Did u get the kydex or stretchy stuff? Tuckable? Sorry for the questions but I am seriously thinking of a tuckable N82 when my Shield arrives. Thanks

I got the polycarbonare holster. It is tuckable. It's the same thickness as wearing most IWB type holters. I don't think I'd wear one with a heavy gun though because it relies on one belt clip so the load isn't spread out.

Here is my shield in a High Noon Closing Argument. I wear it at 4 o'clock with either a 511 leather or nylon belt. I have no problems concealing.
