Do the pink M&P9 backstraps work on the M&P40?

Hello all,

After years, my wife finally asked me to take her shooting and now loves it. She has been inquiring about pink guns now. I'll do whatever just to keep her interested at this point since she hated guns when we met. I saw the Julie Goloski M&P9 in a local gunshop and when I got home I got to wondering if the backstraps on that gun will also work on the M&P40 since I reload 40's and the majority of my pistols are 40's. If anyone out there knows for sure or if you happen to have the pink M&P9 and a regular M&P40, your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
 
I also believe they are the same. I'm in MA the JG M&P was not available for purchase. I got the full size M&P 9mm and found online, "Brilliant Backstraps" she is on Facebook, but her stuff is also sold thru gungoddess.com. Check them out I ordered a sparkly pink backstrap and also mag baseplates. I love it. There are many more options and designs available. They are made for the M&P 9 and 40....good luck!

Thanks for the heads up on the Brilliant Backstraps! I showed them to the wife and she was all excited about the options she has.
 
Glad to hear! I hope she stays excited... There is so much out there for women now....I mean if form, fit and function are met, why can't it then be pretty!
